Whoa, this is so easy to understand compared to other tutorials I've seen. My parents hate VK too but I can only do the simple makeup, no "eyelashes" or anything flamboyant. and i also think you're super pretty <3

its kind of a long explanation but in a really fast way, visual kei its an artistic tendence that begins in japan. Its a matter of aesthetic in the dressing style, its to create art in your outfit, hair and make-up. Some jrockers adopted this style and created some particular music genres related to some vkei subdivisions.There are many, but mainly 4, oshare, kote kote, eroguro and angura.I'd tell you more but im running out of space, but if you feel like knowing more, feel free to message me =)

vkei and goth are very similar in fashion and make-up. now before you flame or derate me, i didn't say that they are the same, just similar, so really, stop complaining about what this is. this however, is indeed vkei. it incorporates different designs and motifs that make it ever slightly different from goth. perhaps it is close to cyber-goth, but not goth.
