As much as I love the fact that Alice was covered in this documentary, they couldn't be more wrong about the "inspiration that came from drug use".
Layne himself said that the songs he and Jerry wrote about drugs were to vent their struggle, not justify or glorify it.

That's because this was made in 2001, and he was too deep in his own shit to even talk to any of his friends, let alone talk about music on a documentary.

Yeah, he definitely was. But I what I mean is, if they were trying to be fair and accurate in the documentary, they really should have included on of his many clips from old 90s interviews when he explains that he's actually trying to turn kids off of drugs. He was grilled enough by the media, surely they could have found ONE 20 second clip.
I like this documentary, but then I don't. They paint the picture they want to paint.

Doesnt it seem like Buzzy And Cornell should be dead of OD's? I love both of them but its just amazing that they are still alive. Im so glad some awesome singers are still kicking.

SHE DIDN'T HIRE ANYONE TO KILL KURT! He did kill himself, after he took his final dose of Heroin. He also took Diazepam which helped reduced the withdrawl symptoms. SO LEAVE COURTNEY ALONE!
