this game was hacked. mario hit the pirahna plant when it he was going down the pipe with the plat and he did die from the fire rings when he actually touched it...

please make sure you know what you're commenting about before you actually post it. while it does look like mario is touching the plants, he is BARELY grazing the hitbox of the plants so he's really not actually touching him, rendering him safe. same with the fire rings.

he's not... he's barely grazing it. if you see other speedruns that other people do, they get just as close, if not closer, to the fire rings and still turn out just fine.

Man, your good. You don't even look like your trying. I had no idea there were so many levels. Its hard to see how anyone can beat it without those warp zones. The farthest I've ever got is just past the bridge with all the fish jumping up.
