So it's really not that unusual that, say, a rat would laugh.
And as a sidenote, those rats are fine. They're perfectly healthy and are *playing* together, in much the same manner that two puppies might playfight for fun.
This bloke wants to learn more about animals and how they live. It's those who are testing out cosmetics on rats that you need to be directing your hate towards.

Rats that are angry will run away from you. They will never chase you and they make very high squiking sounds. Rats that have fun with you either run chasing your hand or often as I see it, they will run to you, run back and run too you again as if they are hyper.
When they enjoy being petted they vibrate and often begin to lick you in return.
