I agree. But that's not to say that what comes in between on the album, ie. all of the rest of Animals, is crap. Far from it. It's my 3rd favorite Floyd album behind DSotM and WYWH.

I have to wonder, in terms of rock landmarks, which do you suppose would be more visited, photographed etc. The Abbey Road crosswalk or Battersea Power Station?
I hope to have my pic taken in front of Battersea someday.

A new consortium have taken over the power station at Battersea and it will be re-developed and the famous landmarks and buildings will remain and some parts will be open to the public for the first time. Will be ready within 3-5 years. At least the famous landmark will stay despite years of quibbling about its future.
