On 6 February 1958, a charter plane carrying 44 people crashed after refuelling at Munich Airport.
The accident claimed 23 lives, among them eight Manchester United players and three club officials.

Brilliant video well done. Obviously everyone associated with United was always aware of the Busby babes and our history but when the 50th anniversary came round I didnt realise how hard it would hit me. The tributes and coverage on MUTV was brilliant and during that minutes silence I broke into tears, it felt like we lost them all over again. I hope to god we can bring back the European cup this year of all years for Matt and the babes

Im emotionally drained after last night, the Manchester derby was soul destroying earlier in the season. Old Trafford was in mourning and it was a really strange atmosphere, and to lose in a way almost seemed apporopraite that day now, I know you were watching lads.
Last night was for you, our babes who lost there lifes representing our fantastic club.
Gone but not forgotten, lest we forget!
