There are some rumours (I don't know if there's any truth to them), that Beat 55 evolved into Mescaline, and vice-versa.
There are also rumours that Maxim isn't doing vocals anymore, that Keith IS doing vocals, they took out the Xylophone and the Molotov Coctkail sample.
For the sake of the album, I hope Mescaline stays as it is. It's a fucking amazing song.
